A Supreme Selah
To forget life's problems and sail away
on the tenor saxophone riffs of John Coltrane's A love Supreme is to
experience the divine healing balm
of Gilead.
I listen to this music when I'm happy.
I pull out these songs when I'm sad.
I listen to these old jazz standards to
feel closer to my dad. 6 years since
he's been gone.
A talented poet once wrote, "All paths
lead to God", especially my own;
Dad's God the Stone of Israel is the
most supreme Selah of all.
